Revised Guidance for Chancellor's Regulations A-750 and A-210
Please note that Chancellor’s Regulations A-750 (re-named Child Abuse and Maltreatment Prevention), and Chancellor’s Regulation A-210 (re-named Attendance Standards), have recently been revised. You should review the updated regulations and ensure that your follow these policies and procedures:
CR A-750: Directs all school personnel to report suspected child abuse and maltreatment and contains the policies and procedures for making reports, including procedures for photographing visible signs of injury in connection with such reports. It also includes requirements for escalating concerns regarding the absence of students under child welfare administration. For a summary of all the changes in the regulation, see here.
CR A-210: Sets forth expectations for school attendance programs and establishes standards for school attendance management, reporting, outreach and services, and follow-up procedures. For a summary of all the changes in the regulation, see here.
