NYS Grades 3-8 Common Core ELA and Math Student Participation and Accoommodation Guides
- Last year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) released the Policy and Tools Guide for Testing Accommodations for Students with Disabilities. You should review and share the guide with your test coordinator and teachers to ensure that you provide students with proper accommodations, if applicable.
- For questions regarding student participation for NYS grades 3–8 ELA and math exams, refer to this 2019 School Guide. You can share this 2019 Parent Guide with families who have questions about student participation; the parent guide, along with the translated versions (Urdu, Bengali, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Korean, French, Haitian Creole, and Chinese), can also be accessed on the Testing page.
