2019-2020 School Year Calendar
Each year, the DOE school year calendar is pre-determined to ensure that schools do not fall below the minimum number of aidable days and the minimum amount of instructional time. This is further outlined in the High School Academic Policy Guide (pages 68–71), the Middle School Academic Policy Guide (pages 36–38), and the Elementary School Academic Policy Guide (pages 28–29).
In preparation for 2019–20 school year, you may review the DOE School Year Calendar, which provides the start and end dates for the school year, the number of instructional and attendance days, and other important legal obligations and disclosures.
