First-Year Teachers to Complete End-of-Year New Teacher Survey
This week, the DOE will launch its annual end-of-year New Teacher Survey, which is shared with all active, first-year classroom teachers via their DOE email addresses. You are encouraged to complete it by June 12. Your feedback will provide valuable insights into first-year teaching experiences in the DOE, and inform new teacher supports citywide. Note that first-year teachers are surveyed twice citywide—at the six-week mark in the fall and in the closing weeks of the school year. Participation is optional but strongly encouraged, and the results are confidential.
For questions, email NewTeacherSupport@schools.nyc.gov.
