Teacher Times #12
November 17, 2014
Clocking in When LatePlease be advised that teachers who report to work after 8:20 are required to clock-in. Failure to follow this procedure may result in disciplinary actions.
From Staff Handbook: LEAVING EARLY/ARRIVING LATE Staff members who must leave school prior to the end of the scheduled workday must personally request permission from the Principal. Such request should be for emergencies only. Medical, dental and other appointments should not be scheduled during work hours nor during faculty and department meetings. In the absence of the Principal, the assistant principal will serve as the Principal’s designee. Staff members who anticipate arriving after their scheduled starting time must attempt to notify the school. If known, an anticipated arrival time should also be given. Any staff member who arrives after the scheduled starting time, or leaves prior to the end of the official workday, must punch his/her time card. After scheduled arrival time, timecards will be removed and must be picked up from the payroll secretary. Accumulated time will result in payroll deductions. When late, your official arrival time will be calculated from when you pick up your timecard from the payroll secretary.
