Students with IEP and/or 504 As you know students with IEP's are mandated to receive testing accommodations as listed on their IEP's. In addition to their accommodations received on their state and standardized exams, students should also receive their accommodations during unit exams, quizzes and assessments. If you currently team teach, accommodations should be made available through use of the special education professional. Most students should be given time and a half for exams. If a student finishes prior to use of his or her extended time this is ok. If a students needs additional time it should be coordinated with the team teacher, SETSS teacher or Mr. Berkowitz. IEP's can be found on skedula attached to the student profile or on SESIS. Any other questions regarding testing accommodations please email or contact Mr. Berkowitz.
